Hi, welcome to funnelmoose.com and my step by step guide on how to integrate Recurly with ClickFunnels.
Integrating ClickFunnels with the Recurly payment gateway is very easy and can be completed with just 7 simple steps.
Once you’ve done this you’ll be able to accept payments via Recurly from your sales funnels order form page.
Why Choose Recurly?
Recurly’s payment processor was designed to be the complete billing system for recurring billing.
Some of the features offered Recurly customers include:
- Hosted payment pages
- Automate customer communication and invoicing
- Credit card payment support
- Chat-based 24/7 customer support
There are three Recurly pricing plans for you to choose from; Core, Professional, and Elite.
The Core plan comes with a free trial and costs $149 per month + 0.9% revenue. For both the Professional and Elite plans you have to contact Recurly for a quote.
What Do You Need?
To do this, you need two things:
Please note, when setting up your Recurly account, you will be requested to create a Recurly subdomain. Make a note of this subdomain name as you will need it later on in this guide.
How To Integrate Recurly With ClickFunnels
Go to the Recurly login page, sign in to your account and click Integrations:
Then click API Credentials from the drop-down menu:
You will now see this screen with your Recurly API Keys. You will need your Private API Key (left) and Public API Key (right) shortly.
In a new web browser tab log in to your ClickFunnels account and select Account Settings:
Click Payment Gateways:
Click Add New Payment Gateway:
Enter your Recurly subdomain. Please note, you should only enter your subdomain part and not the .recurly.com
For clarity, let’s say your subdomain is “getyourcooloffer.recurly.com” you would only enter “getyourcooloffer” here.
Copy and paste your Private API key here:
Copy and paste your Public Key here:
Click Create Recurly Account:
You have just added Recurly as your payment gateway in ClickFunnels.
You can now:
- Create a one-time offer product in ClickFunnels.
- Create a subscription plan in ClickFunnels.
If you’re a ClickFunnels Basic subscriber, you are only allowed 1 payment gateway integration, if you’d like more payment integrations you’ll need to upgrade to their platinum plan. See my article: ClickFunnels Pricing to see which plan is right for you.
Should you ever wish to disconnect Recurly from your ClickFunnels account, I have the following article which will show you how to do so: How To Disconnect Recurly From ClickFunnels
If you’d like to add other payment gateways to your ClickFunnels account, I have an article showing you which are the Best ClickFunnels Payment Gateways
I actually recommend using Stripe and PayPal to handle your ClickFunnels payment processing. You can actually use both services together on the Basic ClickFunnels subscription plan and you can sign up for your Stripe account from within ClickFunnels. I have these articles which will take you through that particular ClickFunnels integration: How To Integrate Stripe With ClickFunnels and How To Integrate PayPal With ClickFunnels.
